Pet vet has a fine group of veterinarians and staff who love dogs and cats. Years ago Dr. Wesseldyke saved our dog’s life by performing emergency surgery. More recently, one of the staff: Briggene went out of her way during her lunch hour to correct a problem and get the prescriptions that we needed for our new puppy.

Dr. Short and her assistant were wonderful with my cat, Athene. It was her first time going to the vet with us, so she was pretty scared, and they were able to calm her down and get everything to her quite painlessly. We were very pleased and we will return with her!

The staff is always very helpful and understanding of my Boy’s anxiety. He has worked with their trainer April as well and with her advice and guidance from the Dr’s there my boy is happy, healthy and even abke to go to the dog park! (Which I never thought he would be able to do)

I have been coming here for about 1.5 years now, but a friend just asked me to recommend a vet to her so I figured I should tell everyone! The staff is always very nice and friendly. I have never had a bad experience with any of the doctors or techs (I don’t have a specific doctor, I just jump around). They are very patient with my boxer pit mix who gets very nervous and backs into me. But they take their time and sit on the floor with her or give her treats until she is comfortable. They are always very gentle and calm with her. The office itself is also VERY clean which is a big selling point for me. The only bad thing about it is that they are a little more on the pricy side, but you get what you pay for when it comes to vets and I would rather spend more for a quality experience. Highly recommend!

All of the staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. On many they have gone above and beyond when my pets needed serious medical care. I have been using Pet Vet for my pet care needs for 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They truly strive to help keep my pets happy and healthy.

The staff and professionals were thorough, incredibly kind, attentive and made a hard effort to get my newly rescued kittens taken care of faster than anyone else in the city was able to. Greatly appreciated. Their love of animals was noticed and meant so much.

My cat’s leg was amputated by a vet in a different town. Pet Vet has been so very supportive and so patient with my questions and worries during my cat’s recovery. Every one of the vets and techs who helped us with little and not so little things was great. The front staff was also great! Thank you all!

I have trusted Dr. West. for probably over 30 years. The office is much bigger, as well as the staff. EVERYONE through the years have been wonderful. I have had some difficult and painful decisions to make, and everyone has always been kind and showed sympathy. At this moment in time I have a very difficult dog, and have had to call the office for help more times than I can count. Every time I have been treated with respect and no one seems to act like I am a pain. Truth be told, I am. Love this office to the moon and back. When I had to say a final goodbye to Toby, I was a mess, Dr. offered to drive me home, who does that? Pet Vet does.

Everyone that works at Pet Vet realizes that Winnie is a dog, and that she doesn’t always understand why she’s people poked and prodded. If she whines or nips a bit, the staff talk to her gently so that she calms down. Before we came to Pet Vet, our previous vet didn’t do that all the time, and that’s why we switched over to Pet Vet.

Good service at good prices. We always feel valued, well taken care of and feel like your services are priced fairly. We also like that there is never a long wait for an appointment when needed.
